Oliver Askelöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Ekeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Mighty Buccaneers's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Ekeberg came free, but Oliver Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson got control of the ball when Haldun Kıvılcım tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mattias Håkansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haldun Kıvılcım in the 16th minute. Oliver Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Norberg in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Hans Norberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karlsborg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Hans Norberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oliver Askelöf. Mighty Buccaneers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hans Norberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mugurel Drăgoi in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mattias Håkansson saved Karlsborg from getting behind. Mattias Håkansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mugurel Drăgoi's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. When Mighty Buccaneers's Martin Palermo in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karlsborg's goalie prevented a goal. Mugurel Drăgoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mugurel Drăgoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Norberg during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Karlsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Norberg to maneuver through the defense. Haldun Kıvılcım received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mattias Håkansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hans Norberg made a kick off. Mattias Håkansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haldun Kıvılcım went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Mugurel Drăgoi scored 4-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mattias Håkansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the game, Mighty Buccaneers's Kevin Hellström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mattias Håkansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. A collision led to Karlsborg getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hans Norberg hit a great ball. Mighty Buccaneers's Qiu Wei was substituted for Martin Palermo. In the 69th match minute, Karlsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Norberg to maneuver through the defense. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Karlsborg! Karlsborg:s Mattias Håkansson showed great skill when he stopped Kevin Hellström:s penalty. After some careless play in the Karlsborg defense, Mugurel Drăgoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mattias Håkansson. The Karlsborg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mattias Håkansson should have stopped the shot. Oliver Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Norberg in the 81st minute of play. If Kenny Ekeberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute, Fred Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Mighty Buccaneers's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Norberg came free, but Oliver Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
