Alvar Hamnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Fristedt in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Stefan Karlstedt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cosmopolitan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Hannes Springfält charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hannes Springfält the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kulle FF booed when Cosmopolitan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Karlstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Otto Kulle took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Vilgot Tidéksson to make any attempt to save it. If Egil Kullgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Sture Kinell fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kulle FF's protests and gave Sture Kinell a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cosmopolitan FC booed when Kulle FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sture Kinell didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Otto Kulle made the kick off in the second half. Otto Kulle might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilgot Tidéksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Otto Kulle ran back to his position shaking his head. Mário Kempes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvar Hamnberg having to interfere. Cosmopolitan FC's Alvin Berg was substituted for Svante Kinell. Alvar Hamnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Skoog, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Kulle FF's Alvar Hamnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Kempes in the 71st minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Ian Albohm threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cosmopolitan FC's Alvin Berg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Alvar Hamnberg made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Karl-Åke Brenner sent off a good shot on target. Karl-Åke Brenner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Alvar Hamnberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Osvaldo Ermano hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd match minute, Cosmopolitan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Ermano to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the game, Karl-Åke Brenner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosmopolitan FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kulle FF the free kick. The supporters of Kulle FF booed when Cosmopolitan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Åke Brenner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Kulle FF's Hannes Springfält tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Otto Kulle hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Ermano got free with Alvar Hamnberg in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 92 played minutes Kulle FF got a freekick which was hit by Sture Kinell. When the match was over Cosmopolitan FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kulle FF throughout the match.
