Baldomero Zafrilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the SV Barmbek von 1939 defense, Emanuel Markham kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Zafrilla. The SV Barmbek von 1939 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Zafrilla should have stopped the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Markham stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baldomero Zafrilla, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frode Tobiassen got free with Baldomero Zafrilla in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brufoss IL played a much better game than SV Barmbek von 1939 and deserved their victory. The SV Barmbek von 1939 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
