Borys Witek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Loui Dyndgaard went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Brufoss IL's zone, Zenon Gall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borys Witek came out of the goal and Zenon Gall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 17 in the game by Zenon Gall from a close distance when the talented Borys Witek managed to make a qualified save. Brufoss IL's players were relieved. If Loui Dyndgaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rune Saltnes came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Brufoss IL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Saltnes couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loui Dyndgaard. 36 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Gall came free, but Borys Witek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torjus Solvoll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai Østbye in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Gall in the 41st minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brufoss IL's Borys Witek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zenon Gall in the 46th minute of play. When Rune Saltnes came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Brufoss IL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Saltnes couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zenon Gall was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when Gettrup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastean Staniok didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Gettrup SIK's goalkeeper Torjus Solvoll had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Markham. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keld Popp in the 55th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brufoss IL's Rune Saltnes got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when Gettrup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Absalon Berritsgård didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Kai Østbye. If Zenon Gall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borys Witek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Gall, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Gettrup SIK were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Brufoss IL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Loui Dyndgaard took the corner. Gettrup SIK's Keld Popp was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Borys Witek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Brufoss IL's Frode Tobiassen was substituted for Kai Østbye. Gettrup SIK were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Brufoss IL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Loui Dyndgaard took the corner. Emanuel Markham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borys Witek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keld Popp, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Gettrup SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krestoffer Brandmose to maneuver through the defense. Borys Witek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenon Gall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Stenhus kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Torjus Solvoll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Remme in the 84th minute of play. Emanuel Markham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gettrup SIK made a substitution. Sten Vonk replaced Zenon Gall.
