Jonathan Rosby hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Asmund Geinæs struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Tyge Oehlerich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hyklerne. Wolfgang Vesterø might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hasan Bræmdal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wolfgang Vesterø ran back to his position shaking his head. Hasan Bræmdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolfgang Vesterø in the 9th minute of play. The throw-in from Xamín Iturgoyen in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pheonix FC's Jonathan Rosby. In the 13th minute, Wolfgang Vesterø made a precise shot to the right of Hasan Bræmdal. FC Hyklerne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Wolfgang Vesterø came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Pheonix FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wolfgang Vesterø couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the game, Wolfgang Vesterø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hasan Bræmdal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Wolfgang Vesterø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wolfgang Vesterø in the 27th minute of play forced FC Hyklerne's goalkeeper Hasan Bræmdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wolfgang Vesterø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasan Bræmdal having to interfere. A collision led to Pheonix FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Torbjørn Præstensgaard hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Wolfgang Vesterø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xamín Iturgoyen made in the 39th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Adolf Hedegart. 赵志明 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyge Oehlerich having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Pheonix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 任正振 to maneuver through the defense. Pheonix FC's Tyge Oehlerich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 赵志明 in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, FC Hyklerne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guy Pearce to maneuver through the defense. Wolfgang Vesterø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wolfgang Vesterø to make the kick off. Wolfgang Vesterø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Guy Pearce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pheonix FC's attentive Jonathan Rosby managed to snatch the ball when Xamín Iturgoyen made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. 63 minutes into the game, Xamín Iturgoyen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Hyklerne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pheonix FC the free kick. After 63 played minutes FC Hyklerne got a freekick which was hit by Xamín Iturgoyen. Tyge Oehlerich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Vistruario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Vistruario in the 69th minute of play forced Pheonix FC's goalkeeper Tyge Oehlerich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guy Pearce took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tyge Oehlerich. Tyge Oehlerich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Wolfgang Vesterø struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Hasan Bræmdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pheonix FC. Wolfgang Vesterø in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hasan Bræmdal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tyge Oehlerich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guy Pearce in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Xamín Iturgoyen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Marcel Militaru got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Wolfgang Vesterø struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Hasan Bræmdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pheonix FC. During the 90th minute of the match Xamín Iturgoyen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Xamín Iturgoyen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Hasan Bræmdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolfgang Vesterø, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Ingolf Dyrman kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Pheonix FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
