The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when Club Ahja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Jolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sindre Walle in the 3rd minute of play forced Club Ahja's goalkeeper Avraam Iasonidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Jolin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andreas Hansen came out and tried to block the shot, but Angelino Jolin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Sindre Walle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Avraam Iasonidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Andreas Hansen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnold Lanen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Nygren in the 16th minute of play forced Club Ahja's goalkeeper Avraam Iasonidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, Club Ahja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuido Joala to maneuver through the defense. FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Hansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Bullock in the 21st minute of play. Svenåge Ellefsen kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Club Ahja's Arnold Lanen got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Sindre Walle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Nordsjælland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Dimitar Berbatov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 33 minutes on the clock, Villu Viitkar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Ahja! The referee gave FC Nordsjælland a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Andreas Schjelderup, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Ahja's Avraam Iasonidis. 1-2. Daniel Svensson kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Club Ahja's goal looked a bit too open when Sindre Walle came free, but Avraam Iasonidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelino Jolin during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sindre Walle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the game, Sindre Walle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Avraam Iasonidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Nordsjælland made a substitution. Ibrahim Osman replaced Benjamin Nygren. Club Ahja's Aapo Aps was substituted for Ediberto Neves.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sindre Walle to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandro Bullock in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Hansen saved FC Nordsjælland from getting behind. 60 minutes into the game, Ibrahim Osman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Nordsjælland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Ahja the free kick. After 61 played minutes FC Nordsjælland got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Svensson. Dimitar Berbatov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avraam Iasonidis having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Nordsjælland's Daniel Svensson got a free kick in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Ibrahim Osman took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Avraam Iasonidis to make any attempt to save it. Dimitar Berbatov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Avraam Iasonidis came out and tried to block the shot, but Dimitar Berbatov slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 77th minute. Andreas Hansen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrik Anton went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. Andreas Hansen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aapo Aps, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The supporters of Club Ahja booed when FC Nordsjælland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Svensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Club Ahja's Sandro Bullock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Hansen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Nordsjælland walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
