Stickleback Utd Xl's Martin Giöck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Stickleback Utd Xl from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baby Snakes's goalkeeper Ron Tomkin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Baby Snakes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Di Fonzo to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Unai did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Martin Giöck 21 minutes into the match. Martin Giöck made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Krasimir Balakov sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper Martin Giöck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Bohr. In the 31st minute, Harvey Courtney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ron Tomkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Tetley in the 32nd minute of the match. Nils Bohr came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Martin Giöck could save by the left post. Stickleback Utd Xl's Martin Giöck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zackary Hunter in the 34th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Stickleback Utd Xl:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Baby Snakes:s goal. 39 minutes into the match, Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper Martin Giöck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Bohr. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Stickleback Utd Xl's Grégory Will was substituted for Olly Paley. The wind increased when Teofilo Unai made the kick off in the second half. Ron Tomkin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Baby Snakes had played much better football throughout.
