The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Victory F.C. booed when Uggeløse SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul-Émile Larousse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victory F.C. were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Uggeløse SIK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Moses Vesterlyng took the corner. Claus Skoubo might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Van Dyck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claus Skoubo ran back to his position shaking his head. Paul-Émile Larousse hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Uggeløse SIK's Paul-Émile Larousse got a free kick in the 18th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kong Yu Xi during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Victory F.C. booed when Uggeløse SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kong Yu Xi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Holger Brandhøj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victory F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurd Thiemer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Asmind Wrensted was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Victory F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uggeløse SIK the free kick. Asmind Wrensted kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Victory F.C. were awarded a corner. Moses Vesterlyng went to the cornerflag to take it. Søren Malman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kong Yu Xi in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claus Skoubo was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Holger Brandhøj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Søren Malman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the game, Holger Brandhøj cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Søren Malman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Søren Malman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Brandhøj in the 56th minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Victory F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asmind Wrensted to maneuver through the defense. Holger Brandhøj took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Søren Malman. Søren Malman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Victory F.C. made a substitution. Haakon Bindsted replaced Kurd Thiemer. A collision led to Uggeløse SIK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Pascual Di Cola hit a great ball. Søren Malman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Jungschlager in the 89th minute of the match. Victory F.C.'s Søren Malman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Brandhøj in the 93rd minute of play. Victory F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
