Taniel Maasar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tod Freeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute, Şükür Hagi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Taniel Maasar. The goal made the score 1-0. Taniel Maasar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şükür Hagi went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe Di Campli in the 19th minute of play. Grant Blacknell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauri Niit in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, FC Minerva Tallinn's Taniel Maasar got control of the ball when Camron Rhodes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesar Sampaio took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grant Blacknell. Grant Blacknell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Şükür Hagi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Taniel Maasar made a huge save. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Mike Wadham hit a great ball. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauri Niit in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lauri Niit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Taniel Maasar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tod Freeman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ray Sotelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Leicester Lions's Camron Rhodes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taniel Maasar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Grant Blacknell was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Beppe Di Campli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Beppe Di Campli really showed his touch with that goal: 6-2. Taniel Maasar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şükür Hagi in the 67th minute of the match. Taniel Maasar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mike Wadham went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. Arnulfo Dolfos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Grant Blacknell made a huge save. Taniel Maasar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camron Rhodes in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Şükür Hagi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-2. Taniel Maasar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 80 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Michal Budzyn. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Dolfos got free with Grant Blacknell in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
