Congo Bongo's Andrew Specht managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Delmiro Lucado in the 13 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damaso Sancho in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nemesio Cerilo saved pciclon from getting behind. After 18 minutes pciclon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Franz Beckenbauer who took care of the corner kick. Damaso Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nemesio Cerilo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Damaso Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemesio Cerilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Austin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Atarrabi's late challenge caught a pciclon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iker Atarrabi helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in pciclon's zone, Kaj-Åke Kaká stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Cerilo came out of the goal and Kaj-Åke Kaká tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Damaso Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Cerilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Congo Bongo's Máté Márton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Medina in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match, Pastor Fidele tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Máté Márton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 34th match minute, Congo Bongo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Beckenbauer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Gorka in the 36th minute of play forced Congo Bongo's goalkeeper Máté Márton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Sergio Austin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Cerilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damaso Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Sancho in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Cerilo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute of the match, Pastor Fidele tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Máté Márton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half Congo Bongo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Pastor Fidele made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Fidele came free, but Máté Márton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. pciclon's Nemesio Cerilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Sancho in the 59th minute of play. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Damaso Sancho sped through pciclon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nemesio Cerilo. A collision led to pciclon getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rene Ariando hit a great ball. Máté Márton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Fidele in the 71st minute of play. Kaj-Åke Kaká received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nemesio Cerilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. pciclon's Nemesio Cerilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Sancho in the 76th minute of play. Máté Márton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Gorka, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Damaso Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemesio Cerilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Sancho in the 83rd minute of the match. Pedro Gorka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Máté Márton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Máté Márton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Gajewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Damaso Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Cerilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damaso Sancho took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nemesio Cerilo. Nemesio Cerilo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Congo Bongo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
