Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Racing Club's Sven-Edvin Dalgren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gavino Hitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Fidel Tadzio made a huge save. If Sven-Edvin Dalgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute Sven-Edvin Dalgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Tadzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Gavino Hitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Hitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Academia 1903's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Sven-Edvin Dalgren scored to the left of an out of position Fidel Tadzio, making the score, 2-0. Francisco Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Hermelando in the 21st minute of play. After 30 minutes Academia 1903's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enrico Petrini who took care of the corner kick. Enrico Petrini made a great header on Racing Club's corner, it was just that Academia 1903's Fidel Tadzio managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 34th minute, Sven-Edvin Dalgren fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fidel Tadzio, passed just outside the right post. 37 minutes into the game, Racing Club's Gavino Hitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidel Tadzio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Gavino Hitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Sven-Edvin Dalgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Epifanio Hermelando made a kick off. After some careless play in the Academia 1903 defense, Gavino Hitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Tadzio. The Academia 1903 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Tadzio should have stopped the shot. Sven-Edvin Dalgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Tadzio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Edvin Dalgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Teyo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fidel Tadzio. Academia 1903's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siro Orlanda during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fidel Tadzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 62nd minute of play. Sven-Edvin Dalgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Academia 1903's Fidel Tadzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 69th minute of play. Fidel Tadzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Dalgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Racing Club's Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academia 1903's goalie prevented a goal. Fidel Tadzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Dante Teyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Edvin Dalgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Tadzio having to make a save. When Siro Orlanda was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. Epifanio Hermelando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Raymond having to interfere. With a little luck, Racing Club's Francisco Raymond got control of the ball when Epifanio Hermelando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fidel Tadzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Senen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Sven-Edvin Dalgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Edvin Dalgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Tadzio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Racing Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
