With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Sayvion in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascual Pitin saved Maní FC from getting behind. In the 8th minute, Wandy Petera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascual Pitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiburcio Quinteros in the 11th minute. Pascual Pitin was a little too slow when Tiburcio Quinteros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Elpidio Vitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Hauche, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Maní FC's Pascual Pitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Quinteros in the 33rd minute of play. Pascual Pitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Quinteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konrad Rzegotka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Vitin having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Quinteros came free, but Pascual Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascual Pitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Naike in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute, Bernardo Sayvion fired a really elegant long shot, but Pascual Pitin threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Pascual Pitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Naike in the 55th minute of the match. Vélez Juniors's Donato Efraim was substituted for Alberto Joey. Vélez Juniors's Elvio Checa was substituted for Tiburcio Quinteros. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Maní FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vélez Juniors:s goal. Pascual Pitin went to the wrong direction when Cristian Naike was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Vélez Juniors from getting a goal against them. Alcides Berardo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Pascual Pitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Naike in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Sayvion in the 80th minute of play forced Maní FC's goalkeeper Pascual Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Checa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Pascual Pitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Cristian Naike notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Maní FC's Pascual Pitin. Pascual Pitin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardo Sayvion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Naike took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascual Pitin. Pascual Pitin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Gil Negri hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
