After 3 played minutes Adrogue FC got a freekick which was hit by Javi Pinola. Adrogue FC's Franco Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Iyan in the 4th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rainer Marthaler in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Armani saved Adrogue FC from getting behind. The Adrogue FC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Adrogue FC's Laureano Vergaray looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 10th minute Rainer Marthaler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Vergaray, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Franco Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainer Marthaler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rainer Marthaler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Armani having to interfere. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rainer Marthaler in the 26th minute of the match. When CA Juventud Unida's Saverio Petrigai in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Adrogue FC's goalie prevented a goal. CA Juventud Unida's Robustiano Calvet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Vergaray in the 33rd minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Adrogue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Petrigai came free, but Franco Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rainer Marthaler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Braulio Iyan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franco Armani saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Robustiano Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Vergaray, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Laureano Vergaray blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robustiano Calvet having to make a save. In the 62nd minute Laureano Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, CA Juventud Unida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Txomin to maneuver through the defense. Adrogue FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Saverio Petrigai 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Adrogue FC's Piti Martinez was substituted for Juan Pablo Angel. In the 71st minute Piti Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Calvet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laureano Vergaray went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Vergaray in the 77th minute of play forced CA Juventud Unida's goalkeeper Robustiano Calvet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Adrogue FC's goalkeeper Franco Armani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saverio Petrigai. Rainer Marthaler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Franco Armani made a huge save. In the 81st minute Braulio Iyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Rainer Marthaler reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Franco Armani. The goal made the score 2-3. CA Juventud Unida's Jeremias Medina was substituted for Braulio Iyan. Robustiano Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Abalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Piti Martinez took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robustiano Calvet. Robustiano Calvet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
