After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Lombroso's zone, Igli Tare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gianluca Buffon came out of the goal and Igli Tare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 93 minutes, Eliseu Vaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fecha Libre and the Defensores de Lombroso players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fecha Libre's Everardo Ellande was substituted for Eliseu Vaz. When the final whistle went the supporters of Fecha Libre were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Defensores de Lombroso side.
