The audience was convinced that Denis Stanislao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmond Verdun was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Stanislao in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

51 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Gines came free, but Jorge Iribarren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Victorino Sandalio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. 82 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Eufemio. In the 84th minute, Prospero Jerardo made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Iribarren. Sacronas Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Denis Stanislao kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edmond Verdun. That made the score 4-4 in the 89 minute of play. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Rogelio Jakes replaced Aírton Urbano. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
