In the 22nd minute Bonifacio Txerran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Cesaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Afonso made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Bengt-Arne Åberg sent off a good shot on target. Cleto Onbera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Afonso having to interfere. Serafin Cesaro came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by TALLERES DE CBA's Ronaldo Pika. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Pika quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Pika in the 31st minute of play forced ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafin Cesaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TALLERES DE CBA's Lucio Afonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save TALLERES DE CBA from getting a goal against them. Bengt-Arne Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bengt-Arne Åberg's late challenge caught a TALLERES DE CBA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, César Bustamante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
