In the 17th minute, Alberigo Prosperi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte de Sena was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ergün Asalet in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vladimir Prestes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 23rd minute The Cavern Club were awarded a corner. Dabi Saens went to the cornerflag to take it. Vladimir Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Arne Nord, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Alberigo Prosperi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberigo Prosperi in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte de Sena saved Club Atlético Ituzaingó from getting behind. Vecdi Baysan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save The Cavern Club from getting a goal against them.

Vladimir Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Salbatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Duarte de Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Ituzaingó from getting a goal against them. In the 55th match minute, Club Atlético Ituzaingó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Sugoi to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Salbatore came free, but Vladimir Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Sugoi in the 62nd minute of play forced The Cavern Club's goalkeeper Vladimir Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimir Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Arne Nord in the 65th minute of the match. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vecdi Baysan ran back to his position shaking his head. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
