In the 6th match minute, HFA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Gorka to maneuver through the defense. Gordon Banks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Eufemio in the 7th minute of the match. Ladislao Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Gorka, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Eufemio in the 28th minute of play forced HFA FC's goalkeeper Gordon Banks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gordon Banks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 48th minute, Braulio Lopes made a precise shot to the right of Gordon Banks. HFA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carolo Eufemio to make the kick off. Gordon Banks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Bidari in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Angua FC's Braulio Lopes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gordon Banks made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 61 minutes into the game, Carolo Eufemio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Gordon Banks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joel Eder hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in HFA FC's zone, Calixto Landoff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gordon Banks came out of the goal and Calixto Landoff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gordon Banks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Eufemio in the 68th minute of the match. With a little luck, Angua FC's Ladislao Osasun got control of the ball when Hermengildo Gorka tried to sneak it across the goal line. HFA FC's Gordon Banks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Lopes in the 75th minute of play. Angua FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
