Dionisio Raphael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Arósio in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Mateo Izquierdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvio Bazil acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lisandro Gutierrez. If Filip Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Silvio Bazil got control of the ball when Filip Josefsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvio Bazil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Josefsson. In the 22nd minute, PINGO PINGO's Filip Josefsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silvio Bazil. Silvio Bazil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Silvio Bazil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Josefsson in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Manuel Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Bazil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Josefsson struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Silvio Bazil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PINGO PINGO. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Filip Josefsson took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Silvio Bazil to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Wallgren in the 35th minute of play forced PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Dionisio Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Sol Izquierdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Raphael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Bazil made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Filip Josefsson sent off a good shot on target. PINGO PINGO's Dionisio Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Arósio in the 40th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Filip Josefsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvio Bazil was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, PINGO PINGO's Filip Josefsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvio Bazil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Izquierdo in the 44th minute of play forced PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Dionisio Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After some careless play in the PINGO PINGO defense, Giovanni Arósio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionisio Raphael. The PINGO PINGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionisio Raphael should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Mateo Izquierdo in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PINGO PINGO's Gregorio Tancoš. Filip Josefsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvio Bazil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Silvio Bazil came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by PINGO PINGO's Filip Josefsson. But to his dismay, Filip Josefsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. A sloppy throw-in by Segundo Peyo in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PINGO PINGO's Gregorio Tancoš. 72 minutes into the match, PINGO PINGO's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Izquierdo came free, but Dionisio Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvio Bazil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Josefsson in the 76th minute of play. PINGO PINGO's Desta Roy was substituted for Baldomiro Cordarrell. Martin Palermo F.C. made a substitution. Sebastián Izquierdo replaced Giovanni Arósio. The supporters of PINGO PINGO booed when Martin Palermo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sol Izquierdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Lisandro Gutierrez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvio Bazil skillfully saved the ball. 88 minutes into the game, PINGO PINGO's Alvaro Micarelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvio Bazil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Silvio Bazil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Micarelli in the 94th minute of play. The PINGO PINGO support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
