The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Tequila Sunrise getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Cezary Marchewka hit a great ball. In the 3rd match minute, Tequila Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Olejasz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walery Topolski in the 4th minute of play forced Tequila Sunrise's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Siwek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Opus Dei fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! In the 10th minute, Tequila Sunrise got a penalty, and Norbert Olejasz placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Geraldo Wall scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wladyslaw Siwek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute Patryk Lisewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wladyslaw Siwek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geraldo Wall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wladyslaw Siwek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Opus Dei's Urmas Viru got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Opus Dei's Hugon Raszkiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Opus Dei from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Geraldo Wall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Opus Dei fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Tequila Sunrise's Wladyslaw Siwek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Wall in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match Opus Dei got a corner. Tequila Sunrise's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Walery Topolski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Opus Dei's corner Walery Topolski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wladyslaw Siwek quite easily take care of the ball. Geraldo Wall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the game, Denis Degutis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Wladyslaw Siwek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Opus Dei were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Wladyslaw Siwek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patryk Lisewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urmas Viru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Tequila Sunrise's Wladyslaw Siwek got control of the ball when Patryk Lisewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Wladyslaw Siwek managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Opus Dei's Patryk Lisewski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 60 minutes into the game, Geraldo Wall recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wladyslaw Siwek. Geraldo Wall showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. If Patryk Lisewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Wall in the 69th minute of play forced Tequila Sunrise's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Siwek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Tequila Sunrise's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Siwek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patryk Lisewski. In the 75th minute of the match Opus Dei got a corner. Tequila Sunrise's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Walery Topolski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Tequila Sunrise's goalie and right to Denis Degutis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tequila Sunrise's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 89th minute, Opus Dei's Geraldo Wall dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. If Patryk Lisewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Tequila Sunrise defense, Patryk Lisewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wladyslaw Siwek. The Tequila Sunrise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wladyslaw Siwek should have stopped the shot. Geraldo Wall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wladyslaw Siwek having to make a save. In the 98th match minute, Tequila Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwidon Matuch to maneuver through the defense. Walery Topolski shot from long distance in the 99th minute, but Wladyslaw Siwek was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Opus Dei's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
