In the 16th minute Marquinhos Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Kalinowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Skwira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Santiago Mele made a huge save. Bieganów SSA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jordi Alba in the 19th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's goalie and right to Alberto Quilo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Artur Skwira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute of the match, Artur Skwira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Santiago Mele was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Roch Kalinowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Rosado in the 30th minute of play. WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Santiago Mele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 35 in the game by Artur Skwira from a close distance when the talented Santiago Mele managed to make a qualified save. WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's zone, Artur Skwira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Mele came out of the goal and Artur Skwira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Demetrius Cho struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Roch Kalinowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ. After a defensive mix-up in WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's zone, Armandinho Munhoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Mele came out of the goal and Armandinho Munhoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bieganów SSA's Artur Skwira got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Marquinhos Rosado made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Mikolaj Zworski got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Skwira in the 54th minute of play forced WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's goalkeeper Santiago Mele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Mele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Skwira in the 59th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Artur Skwira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Mele was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. A beautiful save bye WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th minute Bieganów SSA were awarded a corner. Jordi Alba went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ booed when Bieganów SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Big Buh didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ got a freekick which was hit by Mikolaj Zworski. Santiago Mele stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artur Skwira's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. If Artur Skwira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bieganów SSA succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ had controlled the match.
