Egor Bubnov hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Guga Baiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovani Garcia's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Sośnica Gliwice's Gabriel Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Smolarek in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Rafal Kajdasz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Pihlgren in the 30th minute of play forced Sośnica Gliwice's goalkeeper Gabriel Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sośnica Gliwice getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Tolek Bugno hit a great ball. When Radowit Grocholski came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Mytarka €ity fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radowit Grocholski couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Sośnica Gliwice booed when Mytarka €ity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Fudalej didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Radomir Nieuzyla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Guga Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Kajdasz in the 60th minute of play. Cezary Fudalej hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Rafal Kajdasz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wlodzimierz Smolarek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Rosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Mytarka €ity made a substitution. Marian Debowy replaced Cezary Fudalej. Vincent Pihlgren struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Gabriel Rosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mytarka €ity. After 91 played minutes Sośnica Gliwice got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Garcia. The Sośnica Gliwice supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sośnica Gliwice would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
