After a defensive mix-up in Warteczka's zone, Michal Setara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbyszko Basaik came out of the goal and Michal Setara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mauda's Krzysztof Mios in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Warteczka's goalie prevented a goal. Michal Setara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Basaik having to interfere. Mauda were furious when Zygmunt Kaczanka was red carded, 15 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 14th minute, one of Mauda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mauda. Michal Setara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, Warteczka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slawomir Wawak to maneuver through the defense. In the 27thth minute of the game Michal Setara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Warteczka's Zbyszko Basaik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Krzysztof Mios kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Cezary Antoszewski fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mauda's protests and gave Cezary Antoszewski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Cezary Antoszewski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zbyszko Basaik, passed just outside the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cyryl Adamczak made a kick off. In the 60th minute, Michal Setara made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszko Basaik. Warteczka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Mauda's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Slawomir Wawak 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. In the 75th minute, Michal Setara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cyryl Adamczak kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 80thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Mauda's keeper Artur Walczyk was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Zachary Wierzchowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Basaik having to interfere. After 86 minutes, Gaizka Ponce De Leon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Warteczka and the Mauda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Michal Setara managed to get in a good position for a shot.
