Villa Verde FC's Feng Chao Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Frunză in the 25th minute of play. Pesqueira City's Mădălin Lunca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ale Speed in the 27th minute of play. After 46 minutes of play, Villa Verde FC's Saul Goodman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mădălin Lunca was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Vaz in the 96th minute of play forced Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Feng Chao Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Villa Verde FC defense, Benjamin da Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feng Chao Wei. The Villa Verde FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feng Chao Wei should have stopped the shot.
