With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eurico Botelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Velasco in the 16th minute of play forced ManagerZone Crew's goalkeeper Patrick Armstrong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matheus Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matheus Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Metolokos MZ Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ManagerZone Crew getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Andreas Spante hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Crew's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio de Alcântara came free, but Patrick Armstrong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Murilo Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Armstrong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ManagerZone Crew's Peter Linkhorst got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thorbjörn Olerius got free with Eurico Botelho in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patrick Armstrong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Catarinense in the 39th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Metolokos MZ Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Baptista to maneuver through the defense. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emílio de Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. The ManagerZone Crew fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when ManagerZone Crew's Peter Linkhorst looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Peter Linkhorst struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Eurico Botelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ManagerZone Crew. After 58 played minutes Metolokos MZ Clube got a freekick which was hit by Emílio de Alcântara. Gabriel de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Peter Linkhorst's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eurico Botelho was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. If Peter Linkhorst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute, Robert Ununger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Metolokos MZ Clube booed when ManagerZone Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Spante didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute of the match Yan de Queiroz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrick Armstrong skillfully saved the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Metolokos MZ Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Thorbjörn Olerius came free, but Eurico Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Crew's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio de Alcântara came free, but Patrick Armstrong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th match minute, ManagerZone Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Rosario to maneuver through the defense. Metolokos MZ Clube's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
