An unexpectedly hard shot by Shpëtim Kume in the 11th minute of play forced ManagerZone Crew's goalkeeper Patrick Armstrong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Armstrong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Natalio Bieito went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 17th match minute, ManagerZone Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Linkhorst to maneuver through the defense. Peter Linkhorst's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Vimaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Natalio Bieito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patrick Armstrong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Bieito in the 26th minute of the match. A wasted opportunity for La Maquina 9-12-18. 36 minutes into the game, Thorbjörn Olerius recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jose Vimaro. Thorbjörn Olerius showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Bieito in the 39th minute of play forced ManagerZone Crew's goalkeeper Patrick Armstrong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes of play, La Maquina 9-12-18's Natalio Bieito made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Armstrong was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Natalio Bieito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half La Maquina 9-12-18 were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Linkhorst stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the ManagerZone Crew defense, Natalio Bieito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Armstrong. The ManagerZone Crew fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Armstrong should have stopped the shot. The supporters of ManagerZone Crew booed when La Maquina 9-12-18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Luken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Armstrong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natalio Bieito in the 72nd minute. Carmelo Vachon's late challenge caught a ManagerZone Crew's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Vachon helped the player get up and apologised. Carmelo Vachon kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Thorbjörn Olerius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jose Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Linkhorst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Natalio Bieito could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Patrick Armstrong however easily saved by the left post. La Maquina 9-12-18 were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after ManagerZone Crew's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dario Gelacio took the corner. The corner ended in Dario Gelacio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong did a great save. La Maquina 9-12-18's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dario Gelacio in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Natalio Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Maquina 9-12-18's supporters rose to their feet, but Natalio Bieito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Armstrong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched La Maquina 9-12-18 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
