Besiktas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16th minute, one of Besiktas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Besiktas. Honorio Froila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 梅响庭, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Di Toma took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorio Froila. Honorio Froila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After some careless play in the Besiktas defense, 梅响庭 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorio Froila. The Besiktas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorio Froila should have stopped the shot. Mazinho Barreto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claes Fransson's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 38 minutes into the match, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Di Clorius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorio Froila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 39 minutes Besiktas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 梅响庭 who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's corner 梅响庭 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Honorio Froila quite easily take care of the ball. Besiktas's Honorio Froila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Besiktas from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 梅响庭 helped the player get up and apologised. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA fully deserved thier win.
