Slavcho Kanov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Slavcho Kanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurek Ohrem, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éthan Pichard in the 16th minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slavcho Kanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éthan Pichard in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Legia Stavanger's Orest Bredun got a free kick in the 21st minute. Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toralf Hell in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Jurek Ohrem came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slavcho Kanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éthan Pichard in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Silvestre Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slavcho Kanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Loi came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slavcho Kanov came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by SV Bad Harzburg's Éthan Pichard. But to his dismay, Éthan Pichard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 38thth minute of the game Silvestre Loi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Turi in the 40th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slavcho Kanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvestre Loi went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Turi to make the kick off. Jacek Matuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orest Bredun in the 54th minute of the match. Nicolae Ciorogaru kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Slavcho Kanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurek Ohrem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, SV Bad Harzburg's Silvestre Loi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Slavcho Kanov. Slavcho Kanov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The audience was convinced that Éthan Pichard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Slavcho Kanov was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. The supporters of Legia Stavanger booed when SV Bad Harzburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Carlos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Loi in the 73rd minute of play.
