After a defensive mix-up in Legia Stavanger's zone, Ubaldo Gelacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Slavcho Kanov came out of the goal and Ubaldo Gelacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 29th minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Defensores de Lombroso's Bruno Sauveur in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Legia Stavanger's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 33rd minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
