Federico Fe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Cavalcante in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Divina Comédia FC got a corner. Trapiche's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tolga Tuğser ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Betão Catarinense managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Tadeo Abajas's late challenge caught a Divina Comédia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeo Abajas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Divina Comédia FC booed when Trapiche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trapiche's Federico Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Cavalcante in the 26th minute of play. Ziggy Marley kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Eliézer Cavalcante put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Federico Fe. After 39 minutes of play, Divina Comédia FC's Eliézer Cavalcante made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Federico Fe was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Trapiche's Tadeo Abajas got a free kick in the 41st minute. A collision led to Trapiche getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tadeo Abajas hit a great ball. After the first half Divina Comédia FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliézer Cavalcante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Trapiche's Federico Fe got control of the ball when Eliézer Cavalcante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eliézer Cavalcante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Fe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Eliézer Cavalcante might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Fe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliézer Cavalcante ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute, Tadeo Abajas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trapiche's Federico Fe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Trapiche from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the match, Trapiche's goal looked a bit too open when Eliézer Cavalcante came free, but Federico Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Divina Comédia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliézer Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Divina Comédia FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
