Fırat Aytekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesse Vallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fırat Aytekin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesse Vallin in the 57th minute. Benvido Fuica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Rosa in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Dé Töpper left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C. Corinthians Paulista fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. S.C. Corinthians Paulista made a substitution. Dan Waller replaced Dé Töpper. Corinthians Paulista booed when Raven Heart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şenel Hayal didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Nildo Rosa in action when he in the 79th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Fırat Aytekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Blixt in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th play minute Jesse Vallin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fırat Aytekin. 1-2. Llorian Bullon hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Raven Heart supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Raven Heart would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
