Kevin Keegan started the match with the kick off. Olov Wahlnäs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szymon Maziarski in the 4th minute of the match. Olov Wahlnäs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szymon Maziarski in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Lukasz Ankiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Wahlnäs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, BESTIA GDAŃSK's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Hamrin came free, but Leszek Huchro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Wahlnäs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Remus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Patricio Otoniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Wahlnäs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olov Wahlnäs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartosz Gad, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Olov Wahlnäs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szymon Maziarski in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Hamrin in the 19th minute of play forced BESTIA GDAŃSK's goalkeeper Leszek Huchro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Remus took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olov Wahlnäs. Olov Wahlnäs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Chen Ao Fan hit a great ball. Skövde AIK's Olov Wahlnäs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Remus in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute Albert Remus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Wahlnäs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Bartosz Gad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Olov Wahlnäs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

BESTIA GDAŃSK made a substitution. Juliusz Gmoch replaced Patricio Otoniel. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albert Remus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Kurt Hamrin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skövde AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Hamrin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leszek Huchro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by BESTIA GDAŃSK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevin Keegan was slow to take the kick. During this time Skövde AIK's players had a chance to rest. In the 62nd minute, Bartosz Gad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leszek Huchro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 76th minute, Jerry Williams made a precise shot to the right of Leszek Huchro. BESTIA GDAŃSK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Leszek Huchro came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Skövde AIK's Jerry Williams. But to his dismay, Jerry Williams quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. A collision led to BESTIA GDAŃSK getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. In the 97th minute, Chen Ao Fan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leszek Huchro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.
