Olov Wahlnäs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Chen Ao Fan in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Soroca F.C.'s Müslüm Baba. 35 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Espadas came free, but Olov Wahlnäs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Soroca F.C.'s Hernan Lano in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Skövde AIK's Olov Wahlnäs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Lano in the 43rd minute of play. Dan Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 44th minute of the match. Norberto Liberato hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrián Espadas made a kick off. Adrián Espadas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Olov Wahlnäs made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Hans Petersson put in a rough tackle. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Romulo Thomas replaced Gustavo Tartalo. In a very dangerous position, a player in Skövde AIK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! 2-4 came through a penalty shot after 62 played minutes, when Soroca F.C.:s Iordanis Karatzaferis calmly waited for Skövde AIK:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. In the 66th minute, Răzvan Necula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olov Wahlnäs was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Olov Wahlnäs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Necula, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerry Williams in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Wennerqvist saved Soroca F.C. from getting behind. Dan Wennerqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerry Williams's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-5 when Jerry Williams sped through Soroca F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dan Wennerqvist. Olov Wahlnäs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Necula in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Răzvan Necula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soroca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-6. Skövde AIK made a substitution. Kurt Hamrin replaced Jerry Williams. In the 78th minute, Knut Rudberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Necula came free, but Olov Wahlnäs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Răzvan Necula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Wahlnäs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olov Wahlnäs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Necula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 99th minute, Răzvan Necula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olov Wahlnäs was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-8.
