Mira Pene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Caeiro in the 17th minute of play. When Oktay Eğriöz came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Paso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oktay Eğriöz couldn't finish the play. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 35 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Burni. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oktay Eğriöz in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of VB-Team booed when Paso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Burni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Oktay Eğriöz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Mattias Jonasson with Luís Caeiro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Pete Violento kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 89th minute Denis Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Joaquim de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VB-Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Rivas came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Paso FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
