The audience thought a goal was coming when Cícero da Costa got free with Sirod Rayadi in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Conceição's Sirod Rayadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero da Costa in the 6th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Sirod Rayadi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sirod Rayadi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cícero da Costa in the 8th minute. Álvaro Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Facundo Guerrero broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. SC Conceição's Sirod Rayadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arí Machado in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Monte Cortazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sirod Rayadi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero da Costa in the 20th minute of the match. When CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Sílvio Dantas in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Conceição's goalie prevented a goal. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monte Cortazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Cícero da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sirod Rayadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Dantas in the 32nd minute of play forced SC Conceição's goalkeeper Sirod Rayadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Robert Bambas. Monte Cortazar took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Amor. Melquiades Amor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 36th minute Florentino Cedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Florentino Cedro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor. Melquiades Amor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Monte Cortazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Amor having to make a save. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monte Cortazar in the 44th minute of play. Melquiades Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Cedro, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Melquiades Amor came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Conceição's Florentino Cedro. But to his dismay, Florentino Cedro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cícero da Costa was the one to do the kick off. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monte Cortazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kauã Rezende was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Conceição's players had a chance to rest. Robert Bambas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes, Arí Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA and the SC Conceição players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Conceição booed when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arí Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sirod Rayadi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cícero da Costa's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monte Cortazar in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Monte Cortazar. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Cedro in the 73rd minute of play. In the last second Melquiades Amor throw himself and got hold of the ball when Florentino Cedro in the 76thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 77thth minute of the game Florentino Cedro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florentino Cedro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Amor having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Melquiades Amor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Melquiades Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Cedro in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Sílvio Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. SC Conceição's Vukašin Jeremić was substituted for Kauã Rezende. In the 92nd minute, Florentino Cedro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Amor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. The SC Conceição supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Conceição would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
