Fonso Zotillo made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Yuri Tutorskiy sent off a good shot on target. Jerônimo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Capixaba in the 23rd minute of play. Yuri Tutorskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fonso Zotillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Gogo Eneko put in a rough tackle. 26 minutes into the game, one of Nitra FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jerônimo Maranhense had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Lauro Souto's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 28 minutes into the game, XV de Piracicaba's Lauro Souto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerônimo Maranhense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When XV de Piracicaba's Gonzalo Jurdan in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After taking down the ball on XV de Piracicaba's corner Wen Yong Sha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jerônimo Maranhense quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half XV de Piracicaba were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Fonso Zotillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Williams Ferrari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Williams Ferrari couldn't finish the play. Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Nitra FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense got control of the ball when Severino Capixaba tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Nitra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Pitta to maneuver through the defense. Jerônimo Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Goiano in the 70th minute of the match. Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Novaes in the 78th minute of play.
