Facundo Altamirano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bozhil Vaptzarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Bozhil Vaptzarov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Facundo Altamirano. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 12th minute Godofredo Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonsalve Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonsalve Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cruz Credo in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Marin in the 19th minute of play forced U.D. Mancini's goalkeeper Gonsalve Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonsalve Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cruz Credo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. It was a well-played corner which Nemanja Vidić managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rolando Salvatore made in the 32nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ugutz Campos. 35 minutes into the match, Maravilla's goal looked a bit too open when Bozhil Vaptzarov came free, but Facundo Altamirano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lancelot Machado charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lancelot Machado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes U.D. Mancini got a freekick which was hit by Lancelot Machado. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bozhil Vaptzarov to strike the kick off in the second half. Gonsalve Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemanja Vidić in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by U.D. Mancini's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulus Van Poucke was slow to take the kick. During this time Maravilla's players had a chance to rest. Maravilla's Paulus Van Poucke was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gonsalve Flores in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. U.D. Mancini's Brion Macia was substituted for Nemesio Quiroga. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Bozhil Vaptzarov managed to get in a good position for a shot. U.D. Mancini's supporters rose to their feet, but Bozhil Vaptzarov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Facundo Altamirano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Marin in the 68th minute of play forced U.D. Mancini's goalkeeper Gonsalve Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Bozhil Vaptzarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Facundo Altamirano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bozhil Vaptzarov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Facundo Altamirano was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Mancini's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
