In the 5th minute Mathias Abstreiter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Gimenez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, German Evarado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aziz Akarsu in the 14th minute of play forced Freestylers's goalkeeper Yuan Lei Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Freestylers's Musa Bardakçı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Gimenez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mukenio's goalkeeper Ismael Gimenez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthias Büssinger. Ismael Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Abstreiter in the 21st minute of play. Deportivo Mukenio's Ismael Gimenez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Musa Bardakçı in the 24th minute of play. Freestylers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Mukenio the free kick. The supporters of Deportivo Mukenio booed when Freestylers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuan Lei Jing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 59thth minute of the game Matthias Büssinger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Mukenio's Ismael Gimenez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Freestylers's Yuan Lei Jing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Freestylers from getting a goal against them. Marc-Joel Rademacher replaced Mathias Abstreiter. In the 74th match minute, Deportivo Mukenio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aziz Akarsu to maneuver through the defense. The Freestylers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Freestylers had played much better football throughout.
