FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Cabezon in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Lars Sundström made a precise shot to the right of Dacian Nițescu. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Dacian Nițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Kasiewski in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute FC Kurdistan were awarded a corner. Carlos-Alberto Bayona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Carlos-Alberto Bayona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dacian Nițescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlos-Alberto Bayona was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Kurdistan's players had a chance to rest. Alaaddin Solskjær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute Roberto-Carlos da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Nițescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alaaddin Solskjær made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Dacian Nițescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Hybbert in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Kasiewski in the 31st minute of play forced AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper Dacian Nițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alaaddin Solskjær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Lars Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iwan Kasiewski to make the kick off. Alaaddin Solskjær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gorri Sañudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lars Sundström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dacian Nițescu. That made the score 1-5 in the 65 minute of play. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Jajat Mustari was substituted for Freddy Sazon. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC made a substitution. Podador Raheiro replaced Don Cabezon. 76 minutes into the match, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Hybbert came free, but Dacian Nițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Samuel Mambru to fire away a dangerous shot which Alaaddin Solskjær despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 86th minute AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC were awarded a corner. Samuel Mambru went to the cornerflag to take it. Samuel Mambru made a great header on AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's corner, it was just that FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Hybbert in the 87th minute of play forced AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper Dacian Nițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alaaddin Solskjær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Podador Raheiro in the 90th minute of play. Podador Raheiro struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Alaaddin Solskjær didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elliot Nordgren in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dacian Nițescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Wilfredo Martxot hit a great ball. The long shot by Carlos-Alberto Bayona in the 98th minute really tested Dacian Nițescu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

FC Kurdistan played a much better game than AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC and deserved their victory. The AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
