The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ömer Demirci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Ömer Demirci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arnoud de Pelsmakere was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frank Matanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Gimlinge in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cisco Birlik FC's goalkeeper Frank Matanov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cisco Birlik FC's attentive Süleyman Tunçhan managed to snatch the ball when Horia Păuceanu made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. In the 17th match minute, Cisco Birlik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Süleyman Tunçhan to maneuver through the defense. Cisco Birlik FC's Süleyman Tunçhan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Horia Păuceanu, made in the 19th minute of the game. Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jelmer Pander in the 26th minute of play. Arnoud de Pelsmakere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer Demirci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cisco Birlik FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Cougars FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jelmer Pander took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jelmer Pander got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnoud de Pelsmakere quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steffen Gimlinge in the 33rd minute of play forced Cisco Birlik FC's goalkeeper Frank Matanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Matanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steffen Gimlinge in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Ömer Demirci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steffen Gimlinge made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Steffen Gimlinge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frank Matanov. Cisco Birlik FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steffen Gimlinge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a little luck, Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere got control of the ball when Ömer Demirci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Ömer Demirci sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steffen Gimlinge in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Matanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 64 minutes into the match, Steffen Gimlinge notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Cisco Birlik FC's Frank Matanov. Frank Matanov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cisco Birlik FC made a substitution. Xelo Trilla replaced Gruyo Kochunski. Cisco Birlik FC made a substitution. Bacary Duvernoy replaced Mansur İzzet. Cisco Birlik FC made a substitution. Mirza Togan replaced Ömer Demirci. Cougars FC made a substitution. Mehat Kovaçi replaced Steffen Gimlinge. Arnoud de Pelsmakere came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Cisco Birlik FC's Mirza Togan. But to his dismay, Mirza Togan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 79th minute, Mirza Togan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnoud de Pelsmakere. The goal made the score 2-3. 81 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mirza Togan came free, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirza Togan in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Mirza Togan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnoud de Pelsmakere. The goal made the score 2-4. Frank Matanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 88th minute of play. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirza Togan in the 91st minute of play. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bacary Duvernoy in the 92nd minute. Frank Matanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehat Kovaçi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cisco Birlik FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
