Russówek's Daniel Kieca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Lucas in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Miau Stars's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gregorio Montez was slow to take the kick. During this time Russówek's players had a chance to rest. If Flavinho Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. Russówek's Ive Tobbackers quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Gregorio Montez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Russówek's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Montez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdulkadir Eraslan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gregorio Montez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdulkadir Eraslan having to make a save. Abdulkadir Eraslan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Montez, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 35 minutes of play, Russówek's Gregorio Montez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After some careless play in the Russówek defense, Pedro Lucas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Kieca. The Russówek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Kieca should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldo Fenomeno made a kick off. Edmílson Arantes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Traczewski in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Ryszard Skonieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkadir Eraslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Zabrzeski in the 74th minute of play forced Miau Stars's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Eraslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
