Ni Qi Yuan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 3rd playminute. In the 10th minute, Ni Qi Yuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Made in Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 13th match minute, Faroe Islands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enok Hansen to maneuver through the defense. In the 14thth minute of the game Ni Qi Yuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faroe Islands's Ingi Castilho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ni Qi Yuan struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Ingi Castilho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Made in Paraguay. A collision led to Faroe Islands getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Enok Hansen hit a great ball. Made in Paraguay's attentive Iratxo Acosta managed to snatch the ball when Enok Hansen made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. Ingi Castilho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mariano Oruña showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. Oscar Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poul Stanković in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Faroe Islands booed when Made in Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Iten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ásbjørn Jónsson took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Cordoba. Oscar Cordoba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Mariano Oruña hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Oscar Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from René Jacobsen in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Made in Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Poul Enok Kwieciński came free, but Oscar Cordoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingi Castilho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ni Qi Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Poul Stanković made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Made in Paraguay's Robertinho Lewandowski got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Made in Paraguay's goalkeeper Oscar Cordoba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ásbjørn Jónsson. In the 61st match minute, Made in Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzo Maradona to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Cordoba made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Ásbjørn Jónsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute Ni Qi Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingi Castilho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Made in Paraguay's Oscar Cordoba got control of the ball when Poul Enok Kwieciński tried to sneak it across the goal line. Faroe Islands's Ingi Castilho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ni Qi Yuan in the 69th minute of play. Zsombor Sass hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Made in Paraguay made a substitution. Agostinho Madureira replaced Iratxo Acosta. Made in Paraguay's Tytus Majdoch was substituted for Ni Qi Yuan. Oscar Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Poul Stanković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Faroe Islands's zone, Tytus Majdoch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingi Castilho came out of the goal and Tytus Majdoch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Símun Niclasen took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Oscar Cordoba to make any attempt to save it.
