Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) After a defensive mix-up in VN Ultra Spartak's zone, Fazul Mwaura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albérico Bernardes came out of the goal and Fazul Mwaura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the game, Michael Kimutai threw the ball into play from the sideline. VN Ultra Spartak's Cristiano Lewandowski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cristiano Lewandowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Paul Ogot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristiano Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albérico Bernardes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fazul Mwaura, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With an all-out effort, Tatooine Local Club's Albérico Bernardes threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fredrick Ntalami, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Michael Kimutai made in the 22nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by James Wanjiru. Cristiano Lewandowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Ogot having to make a save. In the 25th minute Cristiano Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Ogot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Tatooine Local Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Ogot should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Lewandowski was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tatooine Local Club's James Wanjiru got a free kick in the 64th minute. Cristiano Lewandowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Ogot having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Wambui in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albérico Bernardes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paul Ogot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Lewandowski in the 75th minute. Cristiano Lewandowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Ogot having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Fazul Mwaura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albérico Bernardes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Fredrick Ntalami notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of VN Ultra Spartak's Albérico Bernardes. Albérico Bernardes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristiano Lewandowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Michael Kimutai charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Kimutai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Tatooine Local Club's Paul Ogot got control of the ball when Cristiano Lewandowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute Kamil Sungur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Ogot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by James Wanjiru in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by VN Ultra Spartak's Kamil Sungur. Kamil Sungur struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Paul Ogot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VN Ultra Spartak.
