C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ from getting a goal against them. Yin Wei Yi scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Máximo Correia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feng Jun in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno got control of the ball when Feng Jun tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalkeeper Benedicto Ireno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feng Jun. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Buceo's zone, Yin Wei Yi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Máximo Correia came out of the goal and Yin Wei Yi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Máximo Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yin Wei Yi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ were awarded a corner. Colas Valdueza went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Colas Valdueza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Máximo Correia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Sporting Buceo defense, Yin Wei Yi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Máximo Correia. The Sporting Buceo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Máximo Correia should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Seber came free, but Máximo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yin Wei Yi in the 34th minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Máximo Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Jacobo Garin was substituted for Cecilio Eli. The wind increased when Yin Wei Yi made the kick off in the second half. The corner led C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Colas Valdueza to fire away a dangerous shot which Máximo Correia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 64 minutes, Xarles Gadañon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Buceo and the C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Xarles Gadañon got a free kick in the 64th minute. Xarles Gadañon hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Márk Stephen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Máximo Correia was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Jeremias Felo got a free kick in the 68th minute. Colas Valdueza's late challenge caught a Sporting Buceo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xacintu Urruchua didn't get a good kick on the ball.
