An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocky Ryland in the 3rd minute of play forced Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Epifanio Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Penuel Football Club defense, Rocky Ryland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Gabrio. The Penuel Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Gabrio should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Epifanio Gabrio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Nixon. If Richard Nixon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Niks Mus managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chen Shi Ran in the 11 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Richard Nixon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Epifanio Gabrio. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. Richard Nixon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Epifanio Gabrio made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Chen Shi Ran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Costică Peter. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chen Shi Ran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Rocky Ryland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Epifanio Gabrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rocky Ryland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Gabrio having to interfere. Epifanio Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Nixon in the 38th minute of the match. Richard Nixon in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Epifanio Gabrio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Richard Nixon came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Epifanio Gabrio could save by the left post. In the 43rd minute of the game Victor Amato made a throw-in which Eduardo Pires played forward. In the 46th match minute, Penuel Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hartz Orosco to maneuver through the defense. Jon-Inge Kvalvåg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Epifanio Gabrio made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vivaldo Carmona made a kick off. Costică Peter came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Penuel Football Club's Vivaldo Carmona. But to his dismay, Vivaldo Carmona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Penuel Football Club were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Dum Dum Boys Athletics's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victor Amato took the corner. The corner led Penuel Football Club's Victor Amato to fire away a dangerous shot which Costică Peter despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Penuel Football Club's Luis Miguel got a free kick in the 58th minute. Richard Nixon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Gabrio having to interfere. Epifanio Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocky Ryland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Rocky Ryland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Penuel Football Club's Epifanio Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Nixon in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match, Chen Shi Ran tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Costică Peter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Penuel Football Club made a substitution. Nando Pereira replaced Vivaldo Carmona. In the 78th minute of the match Dum Dum Boys Athletics got a corner. Penuel Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jon-Inge Kvalvåg ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 81st minute, Nando Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costică Peter was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Costică Peter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Penuel Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victor Amato in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute Roby Baggio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Penuel Football Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
