Snorlax FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vincente Felice in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeu Netto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Antonio Cardoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrés Chavez. Metolokos MZ Clube's Romeu Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Herauso in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the Metolokos MZ Clube defense, Vincente Felice kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeu Netto. The Metolokos MZ Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeu Netto should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Metolokos MZ Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Herauso came free, but Romeu Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Metolokos MZ Clube's Andrés Chavez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Cardoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
