Sporting Buceo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sidoro Romeu hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Zarando Cordoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Carballal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Baldomero Gelmiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Buceo. In the 59th minute, Nardo Tuo made a precise shot to the right of Baldomero Gelmiro. BAC Belgrano de Cba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Bartoleme Ceja was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. In the 62nd match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartoleme Ceja to maneuver through the defense.
