In the 42nd minute, Fabrício Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Matei Iorgu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Icoara Football Club's zone, Tiberiu Vochin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caetano Monteiro came out of the goal and Tiberiu Vochin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiberiu Vochin made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Mihnea Jula kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Caetano Monteiro. That made the score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. With a little luck, Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro got control of the ball when Tiberiu Vochin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silviu Barascu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Emanuel Vlaicu scored 0-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caetano Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caetano Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Tiberiu Vochin sent off a good shot on target.
