After some careless play in the Cura del Futbol defense, Luiz Guilherme Velasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorato Jorrin. The Cura del Futbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorato Jorrin should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Catarinense in the 21st minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Honorato Jorrin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Metolokos MZ Clube were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Cura del Futbol's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Fábio Braga took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cura del Futbol's goalie and right to Filipe Rezende. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cura del Futbol's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Emílio de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Honorato Jorrin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio de Alcântara scored 1-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorato Jorrin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Zé Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Cura del Futbol defense, Luiz Guilherme Velasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorato Jorrin. The Cura del Futbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorato Jorrin should have stopped the shot. Jimeno Benat kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emílio de Alcântara to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Catarinense came free, but Honorato Jorrin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Metolokos MZ Clube's Luiz Guilherme Velasco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. After 64 played minutes Metolokos MZ Clube got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Braga. Eurico Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Rosalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cura del Futbol's Honorato Jorrin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio de Alcântara in the 72nd minute of play. Emílio de Alcântara took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorato Jorrin. Honorato Jorrin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Guilherme Velasco got free with Honorato Jorrin in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cura del Futbol's Honorato Jorrin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Cura del Futbol from getting a goal against them.
