The supporters of Milfontes United booed when OROTINENSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Carvajal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liu Yong Yong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Baicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cláudio Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Liu Yong Yong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milfontes United. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Milfontes United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Talamanca was slow to take the kick. During this time OROTINENSE's players had a chance to rest. If David Talamanca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 21 played minutes Milfontes United got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Macedo. In the 23rd minute of the match OROTINENSE got a corner. Milfontes United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Talamanca ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Talamanca in the 24th minute of play forced Milfontes United's goalkeeper Romeu De Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeu De Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Talamanca, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Romeu De Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Talamanca in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Talamanca in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeu De Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute of the match, Juraj Múdry got a very nice opportunity to score, but Romeu De Sousa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Romeu De Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Talamanca's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Ruhi Uluöz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Romeu De Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Baicu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Romeu De Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Talamanca in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Felix Baicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Liu Yong Yong was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After 56 played minutes Milfontes United got a freekick which was hit by Felix Baicu. Romeu De Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Talamanca, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 76th minute, David Talamanca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. OROTINENSE made a substitution. Minor Talamanca replaced Ruhi Uluöz. After 79 played minutes OROTINENSE got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Orihuela. Romeu De Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Talamanca in the 84th minute of play. Romeu De Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Walczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacek Walczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong got control of the ball when Sérgio Palhares tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Felix Baicu fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milfontes United's protests and gave Felix Baicu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Milfontes United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Baicu to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the OROTINENSE players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
